Short Version
LittleLion does not currently require an account and does not store your pet records on a LittleLion server. Most data is local on your device, so you can delete it directly in the app, through Android system settings or by uninstalling the app.
1. What Data Can Be Deleted?
Depending on what you have used, LittleLion data may exist in these places:
- On your device: pet profiles, photos, journal entries, documents, measurements, care tasks, reminders, emergency cards, app settings and local purchase entitlement cache.
- In files you exported or shared: manual backup ZIP files, PDFs, photos or emergency cards saved outside the app.
- At Google/Firebase, only if enabled: optional Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics diagnostics.
- At Google Play: purchase and restore records for Pro access handled by Google Play Billing.
- In support email: anything you choose to send to us by email.
2. Delete Local App Data
Option A: Delete a pet profile in the app
Use the pet profile delete action in LittleLion. This removes that pet's local profile, journal entries, care history, measurements and local photo files from the device.
Option B: Delete selected records
You can delete individual photos, notes, care tasks, reminders, albums, documents and other records from the relevant app screens where delete actions are available.
Option C: Clear app data in Android settings
Android Settings → Apps → LittleLion → Storage → Clear data. This removes local app databases, files, settings and cached generated files from the device.
Option D: Uninstall the app
Uninstalling LittleLion removes local app data according to Android's app storage rules.
3. Delete Exported or Shared Files
Manual backup exports are unencrypted ZIP files saved only to the location you select. Generated PDFs, photos and emergency cards may also be saved or shared outside LittleLion. Deleting data inside the app does not delete those outside copies.
Delete exported files wherever you saved or sent them, such as Downloads, Google Drive, email, messaging apps, print queues or other storage locations.
4. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are off by default. If you enabled either one, you can stop future collection in LittleLion: Settings → Privacy choices → turn off Analytics and/or crash reports.
When telemetry consent is withdrawn and no telemetry category remains enabled, the app disables collection, resets Analytics data and asks Firebase to delete the Firebase Installation ID for that app install. Historical Analytics events and crash reports that already reached Google are removed according to their retention periods: Analytics target retention is 2 months; Crashlytics target retention is 90 days.
5. Android Backup and Device Transfer
LittleLion disables Android Auto Backup and device-to-device transfer for app-private data. Pet records, photos and documents in the app's private storage are not included in Android's automatic cloud backup by design.
If you manually exported a backup to Google Drive or another cloud service, delete that exported file from the service where you saved it.
6. Google Play Purchase Records
Pro purchases and restore history are handled by Google Play. LittleLion does not receive your full payment card details and cannot delete Google Play's legal, tax or payment records. You can manage purchases through your Google Play account: play.google.com/store/account.
7. Support Email
If you contacted us by email, we may have your email address, message content and any files you attached. To request deletion of support email content where legally possible, contact animalsmartland@gmail.com.
